Solo album

In 2011, Emeli's debut album in her own name, Där berg kysser berg, was released. This is what Dan Backman in SvD thought:

" It hasn't exactly been a big hit for Emeli Jeremias' fine debut. It's a shame, because this is a very good album in a Swedish low-key and thoughtful vispop tradition. The versatile and seasoned classically trained cellist Jeremias has one for it most sacred way combined poetically ambiguous lyrics with a congenial eclectic tonality that in sparing arrangements moves between pop, jazz and wisdom. absurd lines about an existence where "the cows run loose but the banks rule". The Laura Nyro vibes in Outside your window must also be applauded."

In 2013, Emeli released her second album, Lummer.

Lira about Lummer 2013
"Many interesting tracks such as the atmospheric Vargtimmen, jazzy Murar and Norderport, the double-bottomed, slightly melancholic (and provocative) Knacka inte på. On the catchy Enkelriktad stad, Emeli sings a duet with Ola Sandström. The title track Lummer, also quietly catchy.

This is an album that should be listened to thoughtfully as the lyrics are central. " Read the whole thing here:

In 2014 Trio Mirsidrü (Emeli Jeremias, Fredrik Lindborg and Daniel

Tilling)'s critically acclaimed album Gershwin, which, among other things, was named one of the jazz releases of the year by DIG jazz.

This is what Lira thought: "George Gershwin moved between lightly-trodden schlager, swinging jazz and complex classical music. Everything composed with the greatest finesse. Trio Mirsidrü moves in the same musical landscape when they interpret his music. All arrangements are written by the trio which consists of the cellist and singer Emeli Jeremias, the saxophonist Fredrik Lindborg and the pianist Daniel Tilling. Everything they do in both improvisation and interpretation is in Gershwins - it's about a taste that approaches perfection, a sensitivity to the quality of the original and a feeling in improvisation that testifies to musical certainty of the highest order. Gershwin smiles in his heaven when Emeli Jeremias sings Summertime. That's how he intended this song."
